Little Stander

This is what happens when we put Hailey to sleep. She stands up and plays! This would be fine but she doesn't know how to get down, poor thing. I think it is supper cute and i laugh every time i go in and see her like this. It was sad the other night we didn't get in there soon enough and she fell back and hit her head on the side board. Poor girl, she really didn't like that. The only way i have figure out how to avoid that is just to make sure she is supper tired before putting her in the crib so she wont have the energy to play. Any suggestions for a solution?

news

So sorry for the long time in not posting. But a lot has happened. Hailey has started teething. She is pretty good about it. She is just a BIG time Mama's girl. Which i think is pretty cute, but a little tiring. But other then that she is handling this new experience really well. Her first tooth has broken through, now just waiting for it to come out.It is the front bottom one. And i think that the one right next to it will be coming pretty soon too. She is growing up so fast!

I walked into Hailey's room the other night to go feed her and she was sitting up. How i do not know cause i have never seen her pull herself up before and still haven't but she was sure sitting. And then just the other night a little after she went to bed i still heard her which isn't normal so i went in to check on her and she was standing up! crazy! Good thing we lowered the crib mattress like a month ago when she started really pulling herself up on objects.

Trooper

She is such a good girl. We are not sure if she got her arm like this or when Jason put her in he didn't pull her arm out all the way. but we had to run to Uptown Bagel Cafe(Jason's work) To get a few things. Hailey was pretty tired and it was only a 10 minute trip. But when we got her out of the car we noticed. Not one word/ sound of complaint. Amazing.

OPPS

HAHAHAHAHA...Jason was coming back over from the Willey's apartment and right when they came into the kitchen Hailey was starting to spit up.To be honest i totally could have saved this from happening. But i cheered Hailey on while Jason had no idea until it hit his head. I am so mean i know but i thought it was fair(and funny) considering he rarely ever gets spit up on. And then he thought i was going to get something to wipe it up, but nope i got the camera!!! hehehehe He wasnt to happy..lol..

New Face

I know it is kinda hard to see but this is Hailey's new face. She sucks in her bottom lip. It is pretty cute. She was rolling on the floor and ended up under her Rocker, but was fine just playing and making her new face. She started this face right when she started teething.

Bed Head Award

We awarded Hailey for the Bed Head of the Day! I tried to part her hair the other way but it in the course of drying and sleeping it stopped and styled in the middle. It was so cute. We kept it like this almost all day...until we went into public and then we thought we should tame it. It was so funny.

the new way to play with the Rocker...well she had a little help in getting close to her reach, but she put it in her mouth. She just loves things in her mouth. but then again what kid doesn't.

Every Girl has to learn how to kit a ball. Before we started recording she was giggling like every time she kicked, it was so cute.

Helper

Ever since she was little she has always been such a good helper with the laundry. It is so cute. She thought is was kinda funny.

Here she goes!

Hailey is trying to get up and go go go. But her legs just are not working with her. So she has just been rolling around trying to get where so wants to go. Its fun to have her roll, or try to roll over to us. She is so fun and cute.
She is trying her best to get up and moving. Anything she can use to get up she'll try. It is so fun but yet sad cause she gets so frustrated that its not easy. But she is coming along really well.

Testing the Waters

We went to Rigby Lake with the Staddards. It was a ton of fun. Hailey was not so sure at first. One cause it was so cold and then we started her in the deep end(well for her deep end). We played in it there for a while and then we went to the edge where she could put her feet in the sand and sit. She seemed to really like it there. When Jason was playing with her she even giggled. So funny. Now i cant wait until the school pool open and we can go swimming!

1st dog

Hailey met her first dog. It is so cute. His name is Chancho. He was a 10 week old Pekingese. It was so fun to play with. A bit nippy, but cute. This dog belonged to our friend Jessica's sister- Heather.

1st dog

I really enjoyed playing with it because well I love dogs, but it is the first one I have played with in such a long! I really do love animals. Here is Hailey meeting Chancho. It was so cute. Luckily he didn't bite at her just gave her kisses. I think she will grow up to like animals!

Hot Pads

I just thought Hailey looked so cute playing with these hot pad. It was so funny the first time she just looked up at me and was like- look at me-Is this ok? cause I like it- I hope it is. All i could do was smile at here and laugh. So she kept playing with them.

What a Fun Day!!!

We really had a fun time and we can't wait to go again. We hope that we will be able to make it once more before school starts and see the upper loop area.

This is Hailey really chomping on her spoon and here is picture of a really pretty pond covered in lily pads. There was an even larger pond on the other side that was the same way. But there wasn't any frogs-well at least none that we saw.

Old Faithful

Here is a clip of Old faithful that Jason took. It was pretty cool to watch. It is amazing how much pressure and water it takes for this to go off every 40 minutes- 80 minutes.

Best for Last

The last place that we stopped was Old Faithful. Right in time look around before it went off dirring the sunset. It was really pretty. We had a good excited crowed next to us, it was fun. While we were waiting we went and got ice cream in the lodge. Hailey loves what ever we have so I got her, her own spoon that she could play with. She likes it and is pretty good with it. If only it had ice cream on it she would have liked it better.

These are a couple of animals we saw. We also saw some bison and some mule dear and of course some birds and we almost saw a bear. We drove by and there were two cars pulled over and we asked what we just missed and they said a bear.... Sad if only we were driving a little fast.

Gift shops

We went into 2 gift shops and i just couldn't resist putting Hailey on the horse

Or the Bear. Gift Shops are way more fun with a little kid!

on our way to the Lake

So at first while we were driving we thought it was cool to see this bison in the distance, but

Then we hit some traffic wondering what was going on cause on our side it was backup so far that we couldn't see what the deal was and then when we came up it was a whole herd plus some.

The mom was making funny sounds -there normal sound- when we drove bye they are pretty cool animals. They couldn't decide what side they wanted to be on. I think they were playing Chicken. And enjoying themselves. The rangers were trying to keep them off the road, but you can only control animals so much. We were hoping that one would run in front of us, but no luck
Then farther down the road one decided to cross one car in front of us. they are pretty relaxed around us, but i was still worried that he was going to come and smash into the car. As soon as he passed us a ranger car came up and chased him off the road. They are so big he was taller then our car!

Upper Falls

After the lower falls we went and drove to the upper falls and i took a turn carrying Hailey. Boy-oh-boy I don't know how Jason carried Hailey up and down all of those steps!!!

The spot we went to wasn't very pretty but it was cool to see how fast the water was flowing.

Canyon Village

After Norris we traveled over to Canyon Village where there are upper and lower falls. One path to see the lowers falls is called Uncle Tom's trail. It takes you to the lower falls. It used to take 538 steps and 3 ladders but now it only takes 328 stairs. Easy right... I even got a little nervous walking down a part of them they were so steep.

Jason was a trooper he carried Hailey in the carry pack the whole way down and the whole way up. I tried to count the stairs on the way back up but i only got to like two hundred and something. What a great stair master!!Some nice lady took a picture for us there. It was so nice of her.
After we climbed all the way back up the 328 stairs we started to walk farther down the Yellowstone river to the artist point. It was sure pretty. The whole trail round trip is about two miles. We didn't go the whole way, but on our way back there was a family coming up with two strollers, but they were both double seat strollers. One had two one year old twins and the other had two little girls i am gonna say they were around ages 6-9. This was not a flat trail at all There was some good switch backs along this tail. We were impressed.

My turn

We had to pull over for a while to feed Hailey, but she was more interesting in driving and playing with Jason then eating so he gave her a turn.

Norris

So there are two loops that you can travel while going through the park. We choose to do the lower loop with Old Faithful in it. But first we headed to Norris.

Norris if full of Geyser. We went and walked the Norris Geyser Basin. They were pretty cool to look at. this one was constantly spitting out a little bit of water every couple seconds.
This one was called Crater Spring. They were such a pretty color of blue. They really smelled though. Like really bad!!! Rotten egg is the best way i think we could describe them. Yuck!Some were not as pretty as other ones, but they were cool to look at.

Happy Anniversary to Us!!! Two years!

We thought is would be fun to go to West Yellow Stone National Park for our anniversary. And we were right is was fun!

We went to breakfast at a cute little restaurants. The food was really good, but they were really slow. but maybe that is why it was so good-we were starving. No No it was truly really good.

These were the first falls that we saw traveling on the first stretching coming from the West entrance.

This is me. We were walking back to the car and i looked at Jason right it time for the picture!

Rollin

Hailey has started to roll over, but she will only keep rolling on the bed, once we put her on the floor she complains.


It is so cute sometimes depending on where she is in her crib I can ask her to come over to me and she will roll over to me. It is so cute.


But she can only roll to her left. She won't roll to her right. If we are on her right side and ask her to come to us she will just roll to the left.

New Toys

I was getting ready and Jason was playing with Hailey. I walk out to the leaving room to see Hailey with some of my cooking utensils around her and Jason walking past me asking out loud what can she bang on. He went and found a pan lid. It was so cute she really enjoys these...watching her play with these I wonder why we would ever have to go and buy expensive toys for her when she likes what's in the house.




When Jason came back with the lid he taught her how to bang on the lid with the utensils. Then he went and started doing something else and I walked in and she was just playing away. It was so cute.

Every Saturday pretty much we have a group of Bag Pipers play in the building right behind the house. It is so fun to listen to. So that is why you here them in the back ground. It was kinda funny it was like Hailey wanted to play with them...

Hike

To day we went on a hike to "R" Mountain with the Meads. It was a ton of funJason carried Hailey in this nice backpack carrier (that we barrowed from the Meads) all the way. It was so sweet of him to carry her. Hailey seem to warm up to it. At first she wasn't so sure but by the end she was smiling and talking away. It was so cute. It is nice to know that she likes it. Now we are wanting to go out doors more.
