Out of the Mouths of Babes...and Dudes- John Bytheway

"I always wondered how people could say. " I love you" to people they don't even know, but now I realize that we all knew each other well a long time before. We're really just finally meeting up with old friends. "

Back to school!

So Jason and I started school again. We are both going full time and Jason is working at Uptown Bagel CAfe again this semester. So we are some busy people. But We are both enjoying our classes. Hailey is being a tropper letting me take her to babysitter after babysitter. And thank you for all of you who open your houses up to her. I would not be able to do it with out you! But I think we are going to be able to survive these busy scheduels! I love being in school and learning but boy will it feel better to know that it is done!

What our typical day looks like:

We wake up at 5 a.m. Jason warms up the car for me and then i go to the gym. When i get home at 6 we eat breakfast and then shortly after Jason heads to school. Hailey wakes up at 7. Then pending on the day either 7:15 or 8:30 I take Hailey over to the babysitters. Go to class until 10and then i go get Hailey. We either eat or play and then Hailey sleeps from 11-1. Then on MWF Hailey goes over to another babysitter from 2-4:45 except for Friday its just 2-3. And then we play and have dinner as a family and put Hailey to bed at 7. Jason and i do homework tell we go to bed and then it starts all over again.

Birthday Cake

So Whitney let me make Bailee's Birthday cake for her. It was so much fun to make. I really enjoy making them.I just need to get better.
I took the idea from that magazine that you can see.
Thanks Whitney!

Still fits!

So exciting(after 3 years), I think! We stayed at my parents house for the weekend before we came back up here to Rexburg. I saw my dress haning in the closet and I just couldn't resit trying it on. Thankfully it still fit. I would have been a little depressed (but then again i have had a kid) But it was fun to walk around in the house for a little bit. The fun part for me was it still felt just as speciall in it that day as it did before i got married. I think Wedding dresses just represent something more then just a dress.

Red Rock

We went for a drive and came to explore the Red Rock amphitheater. It was pretty amazing.  This is where the Mormon Tabernacle Choir came and sang in Denver.

We went but unfortunately we came on the wrong evening. There was a "rock" concert going on so we couldn't just walk around.  But it was still fun to go up there and drive around.

The Denver Musem of Nature and Sceince

This was such a fun adventure. I went with a friend of mine- Bree and her son. this place was huge. So much to see and Hailey loved the animals.

This was a guy dressed in black walking in and out of the building "eating" the children. It was fun to watch. I wanted to put Hailey under him but i just really don;t think she would have liked it too much.

In one section it had a bunch of these sculptures. They are made out of all the precious stones.

There was these cool dinosaur out side near the parking garage. Kind of random but yet to so cool. It reminded me just now that i forget to tell you that we also went to the Botanic Gardens.

They were so beautiful. They had like 20 or something visiting dinosours throughout the park. So you had to go wondering around to find them and also learn about the plants that they ate. It was a wonderful adventure. We just kept thinking about our friends and how much their children would loves this and how we wish we could share this with them.

Denver Living

This is our living room. A bench and a table with one chair. Pretty cozy.

Looking out that back window we were able to see our back yard the alley where people would dumpster dive. crazy.

To the side of the living room there was two rooms. One one each side. Jason and I slept on the right side.

The only we place we could stand full height was in the center of the room.  The ceilings were vaulted right around tree feet.

Hailey's room was right across from ours. Her ceiling ctarted from the floor. Good thing she is short. But the sad thing was was that she still ran into the wall.

Her door drove me crazy everytime we closed it to tight it would sprinkle down sheetrock. And there was a couple of times that Hailey and i almost got stuck in her room. She would shut her door it would get stuck! when we first got there the door knobs keep coming apart. But after the first time we got stuck and i had to gimmy the door open we went and got that fixed.  But it still happened but the second time I pulled the frame a little a way from the wall...fixed.

The stairs. As soon as we got there and all of our stuff in we went to the store to get a baby gate.

The kitchen really was not too bad. no dishwasher or disposal and the freezer didn't work, But it was a gas stove, roomy, and there was a great window to look out while cooking.

Here is our wonderful bathroom.
We had to kneel down to shower. It was pretty fuuny.

.So thats where we lived. It was fun but we are both glad it only lasted 6 weeks. We are sure glad that we are back!
