Out of the Mouths of Babes...and Dudes- John Bytheway

"I always wondered how people could say. " I love you" to people they don't even know, but now I realize that we all knew each other well a long time before. We're really just finally meeting up with old friends. "

Moving :(

So the move went really well. Earlier then plan, but really well. WE had everything ready and in boxes by 1 Wednesday. Crib and bed dissembled and a Uhaul rented with a storage unit ready. Everything worked out so well. We had some excellent helpers that got us loaded and unloaded to the storage unit by 3: 30. It was perfect. So only 2 1/2 hours with help, So perfect.

So this was our living room before we started moving nice and clean.
Hailey was such a good helper-hahaha- She did do really well but she is a much better helper in unpacking not packing. But she really did well letting me get stuff done- Given there was way more things to play with and way more that she could get away with while i was busy. But she was good.
We thought she would liked to be bocked up witht he rest of the stuff, she didn't mind too bad but then she realized she couldnt go anywhere.
I thought she could help me finich off the last of the cereal, But as you can tell it was a little more then helping lol. It was so funny. I left the box next to her- shame on me- and instead of eating what she had she wanted what was in the box ... so she got it it was so funny.

It was really great to have these guys help us. thank you so much!!!
We had to put boxes down so we wouldnt get the carpet went and dirty, they worked pretty well.
Moving out i think is the easy part. This one was not as organzied cause it was little more rushed then last time so i am not so excited to un pack but thats okay!

Thanks everbody- Specially Jason!!!
So the trip to Cheyenne was so FUN!! Hailey did great, she only got fussy once and that was because we missed an early exist and made her wait to eat a little bit longer then she was willing. But other then that is was great. We left our apartment (sniff sniff) in Rexburg at about 9 am Thursday morning then took care of some unfinished business and was out of town like 930. Which was perfect timing for Hailey to take a nap so we got to Utah clear roads, it was so nice. We stopped right our side of Salt Lake to nurse Hailey and then hit the road again. Then we stopped in Evanston to eat lunch at McDonalds. Hailey and Jason had a blast there in the play area.Even Jason joined in on the fun - because as rule two states that the child needs to be attened to. So Jason felt that that ment that if Hailey ended up at the top and she needed help he was allowed. Hailey was not at the top but she went any ways. It was a pretty good slide.Hailey enjoed the tunnel. We did has a slip and she fell but she still went back and played some more. It was so cute to see her play and boy is it more fun to eat there when you have kids to play at the play place.
She is so proud of her self. This was so perfect for all of use to get out and strach our legs. We all we in need of this little break.

So then we hit the road again. Hailey was not too excited but she gave in once we shut the door and she new there was no turning back but she played with toys and was a happy camper then fell asleep.

We then drove all the way to Rock springs to feed Hailey, Jason took a quick tour of Wal-Mart and a bathroom break for both of us and then we hit the road again.Roads were still good and dry. But then we started getting close to Rawlins- that was a switch of weather. We called my parents to find out what the roads ahead were like. Reports said- windy and slick spots from Rawlins to Larimie. Larimie to exit ??? closed. exit ??? to exit??? closed. from exit??? to Cheyenne windy with slick spots. Sorry i dont remeber the exit numbers but it was seriously maybe a 30 mile streach that was stoping us from making it home that night. So right as we were disscovering that we started hitting wind spots with slight slick roads and we came up to Rawlins exit so we took it and found our selfs a Hotel for the night- so much for making it in one day. But we stayed and wonderful Travevl Lodge Rawlings Wyoming.Well it was not the top best hotel there but it served us a great purpose in keeping us safe and warm through the night. We are so greatful that Jason listened and thought ahead to find out the road conditions so that way we were able to travel in safety. So We got a room with two Queen beds but unfortuntly for us they did not have a crib availble for Hailey to sleep in, and well we dont sleep ith Hailey so we made he a makeshift crib, it was great and she took to it surprisingly well thankfully.
She slept great. We slpet in ate some breakfast and then hit the road and again. We made really goor time. The roads we a little slick and we did some mild fish tailing but nothing too scary. We got here Hailey was a little uneasy of her surrounds but is loving all the new things to explore.

It was a great road trip specailly being Hailey's true first long road trip!!!! I wouls be willing to do it again, I am glad that we dont have to do it this week but in April I'm sure we will be ready to ceom back to school.

We love oyu all and miss you tons
So were in Cheyenne Wyoming. Things are going well. It has been fun cause my whole family is here. Every one was able to make it home for more then a week. It's been great. We have been eating, eating, and eating. No we've done more then that. It sure has been fun I'm sad that it is going to end this weekend when they all leave and real life is going to kick in. Jason starts his internship on Monday. Its exciting but yet so nerve racking.

Christmas Dress

Hailey looked absolutly smashing in her Christmas Dress. The bows in her pig tails were beautiful. She got to wear it 4 times- once at her cousin Andrew Wheeler's blessing. the next sunday with Grandma and Grandpa Marcum. And then twice here in our new ward here in Cheyenne. But saddly this is the only picture we took of her. Maybe one of these days when i fix the bows and want to get her all dressed up again I'll take a better picture of her.

Tired Man

Poor Jason- So tired after his finals.

Wish's to You

Just want to wish everyone a very
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

And just wanted to sing to you one of my favorite songs

Silent night, Holy night
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon Virgin Mother and Child
Holy Infant so tender and mild
Sleep in Heavenly peace
Sleep in Heavenly peace

Silent night, Holy night
Shepherds quake at the sight
Glories stream from Heaven afar
Heavenly hosts sing Hallelujah
Christ, the Savior is born
Christ, the Savior is born
Silent night, Holy night
Son of God, love’s pure light
Radiant beams from thy Holy face
With the dawn of redeeming grace
Jesus, Lord, at thy birth
Jesus, Lord, at thy birth

I love this season. Being with Family, shopping or making a gift for someone so that it will brighten their face. I love making treats and sharing them with others and eating them of course. I love getting up at 3 in the morning(well used too) to open presents Christmas morning. Everyone chipping in to help get a breakfast on the table. Eating all day and playing with our new gifts. Getting ready for Christmas dinner- enjoy talking to my mom and sisters while preparing the meal. I loving Christmas songs and listening to them all month. Going into the store and seeing all the decorations. Driving down the street and seeing all the lights around the town, so beautiful. Drinking Hot chocolate with marshmallows and toast- so good. I love going to my parents house and visiting with family and friends in the town. The break from school.

I just love this season this list could go on and on. But i will stop here and let you and I get back to our family's.

Love you all and hope you had a wonderful holiday!

Thanksgiving Feast

It was so fun on Thursday. I cooked my first turkey!!! If i may say so my self it turned out really good, juicy and all. We made stuffing, potato's, gravy green beans, rolls, and an apple cider. Everything turned out so good--well except the gravy, needed more flavor-- But it really was a good turn out. I would do this again...lol...good thing huh.

We made name plates for us. Formal dinner deserves name cards.
We set the table all pretty. It was so fun to do this as a family. This was our first Thanksgiving with just us.This is Jason cutting his first Turkey! He did really well. Then after we ate he finished carving the rest of the turkey.
We really had a great day. The night before Jason and i pulled out the mattress and slept on the floor in the living room. We slept in, Jason made a really good breakfast while i got the turkey in the oven. then we just played and cashed Hailey around hung out and then we started cooking. Yum Yum.
Then we headed down to Jason's parents house to hang out with them. We played games and ate some more.
Then on Friday we went down to their house again to have Thanksgiving dinner with the whole family...well except for Tim and April. It was so fun to see the kids!!!

THANKFUL

So i'm a little late---but its better late then never to decorate for thanksgiving. But i thought i would make a list of things i am thankful for with you.

--- I'm Thankful For---
*My Family and their love and support
*My Wonderful Husband and all that he does for Hailey and me. Like working so hard so that i can stay home with Hailey!
*For BYU-Idaho and the little bubble we live in, here in Rexburg.
* For this apartment (rent being affordable) and all of our belongings
*For a car that keeps going and going, even though it threatens to quit every winter. For not having to buy a new car and make payments
*for Hailey's safety every day!!!!!
*For technology that i can talk to my family by Web cam and they get to see Hailey grow up.
*That Jason's family if just 30 min. away in Idaho Falls
*That Jason got an internship in Cheyenne, Wyoming- that we can be close to my family.

I am Greatful---
*For the restored Gospel
*That we can partake of the sacrament every Sunday
*That the Temple is just up the hill from us
*We can do work for the dead
*That we can meet in such a beautiful building right next to the temple
*That we can start each class with a prayer and tie in religion freely
*That the pilgrims crossed over and that this nation was born free
*For Scriptures and modern day revelations
*That we have an ordained Prophet of God to lead this church in this dispensation
*For the Ensign to bring those words into our home that will teach us a guide us in the things we need to know
*That I have a testimony of this church

Well I could go on and on and on with the things i am thankful for, but i think this list is good for now.

But i hope you All have a fabulous thanksgiving!!! I hope your food turns out- Im cooking a turkey for the first time. But enjoy this week! Love you all!!!

Yahoo-Wyoming Here We Come!!!

!!!!Good Old Wyoming!!!!

So Jason got an internship in Cheyenne, Wyoming! He will be working for an accounting firm call McGee, Hearne, and Paiz, LLP
We are hoping to leave Rexburg on the 20th of December so that way we are at my parents in time for Christmas!!! He will start his job on the 5th on January and be done on the 15th of April. And then we will come back up here to finish up our schooling. Jason has three full semesters left.

We have already applied to come back into this complex. We are just hoping that we will be able to get in before the semester starts. Other wise we will have to find a place to live for a bit before we can. But all will work out.

We will miss you all. But we will be back!

Ducks

Hailey and I went for a walk in the nature park and there were people feeding the ducks. the ducks were crazy. seemed like they were starving, they were biting the people for more bread. We didn't have bread but they even came to us to see if we had any. Hailey just stared at them. It was crazy, but so fun to watch them.

Vacuum

Hailey thinks the vacuum is the coolest. Every time i bring it out she is right there wanting to play with it. It is so funny. I end up having to pick her up and finish other wise i risk vacuuming up her fingers.

Happy 8th Birthday

We went and played in the park on Hailey's 8 month Birthday. it was so fun for us to see her reactions to the swing and the slide. The swing she did not really care for but the slide she really didn't like too much. But she learn to like one day. Maybe when she can go down by herself.

OPPSS

Hailey loves to play on the stool. But today she knocked it over. It was pretty funny. Luckily no injury came about this.
And then she crawled away like nothing happened. I hope other tip-overs like this one result in no injury as well.
