Rockin

I was carrying Hailey back to the chair to finish feeding her when she spit up all over the floor and her book so I set her in the chair and she thought it was great!!. She just started talking up a storm and even enjoyed it when i started rocking it. She is such a character.

Growing

We had to lower Hailey's crib this week. She is starting to pull her self up and she has become an excellent sitter. So we thought that before we walk in and she is not where she is supposed to be we should lower the crib. She doesn't seem to mind.
I had to fix the bumper pad so it would work and be safer for her. I had to move a couple of ties and add one so she can't get tangled in it and also tuck it between the mattress and crib so she can get under it. She is a mover in her crib. She is never in the same spot as when i laid her down. Fun Fun

Toes

Hailey has found her toes!! IT is so fun to see her try to suck her toes. We are trying to not let it become a habit.

Happy 4 Months

Hailey opened her first present on her 4 months birthday from grandma and grandpa Whitehead. She really liked the paper. She got The Poky Little Puppy book.

Hailey went to her first college call that Friday and graduated that same day! amazing generations just keep getting smarter and smarter!

I walked for graduating with my associates. yahoo. Jason would like me to continue on to get my bachelor's.

Hailey Found a new fun way to play with the play mat...she is so funny

Hailey has learned to sit up(well from a slanted spot) and she loves it! Even in this rocker she will try to sit up. A little scary for us cause we think she might fall out but so far so good. We just have to make sure that we ALWAYS buckle her in even if she will only be in there for two seconds

Hailey was just playing on the floor and i looked over and she had covered her face. it took her a minute but she got it off. It was so cute!!

So this morning i was really tired and Hailey woke up nice and cheerful so Jason took her out and put her on her play mat and then came back to bed with me. She was perfectly fine. When i finally thought i should get up and eat breakfast i went and said good morning to Hailey. Her left foot was stuck in this circle rattle AND she had the worst explosion in her pants-like it went up majority of her back onto the play mat, and through it all the way to the carpet- big explosion!!!! But what amazes me is that i have no idea how long she had been like that. Cause when i came out to sy hi she gave me a huge smile. She is such a good girl.

Book worm

She has started to play with the books as i read to her. It is so cute, a little harder to read now that she is touching and grabbing on the pages...
But thats the way kids learn. She seems to really like us reading to her.

For the first time out of all the baths we have given her she finally giggled in the Tub. yeah.

Jason and I will be done with this semester next Friday the 18th!!! yahoo for me cause that means i am graduating with my associates.

Jason on the other hand is going to take a class during the next 7 weeks (summer break) and then will be going full time in the Fall semester. what a trooper. He is almost done though.

The Finish

The finishing touch when the fabric was dried Nicole and my mom put up the little animal pictures that match the crib bedding. The room looks so cute now.

So Cute!!!

So fun. We decorated Hailey's room. It was a blast. None of us have ever done it. Well my Mom did it like 20 years ago. We just took liquid starch and got the wall wet with it, then put the fabric up and then wet over the fabric with a sponge covered in the starch. It was a little messy, but sooo totally worth it. It only took four people and two hours to do it. Jason came and helped us when he got off work.

The Parade

Nicole, my Mom, Hailey and I went to the Parade that morning. It was pretty good, but nothing compared to the Cheyenne Frontier Days parade. Still pretty good. But this horse was pretty cool..it's wearing a tux! So cute. The only thing that Hailey didn't like was the Fire Truck. The sirens were going and then right in front of us it blasted its horn. Yeah don't blame her for screaming.

The weekend

So for the 4th my Mom and sister, Nicole, came to town. So much fun. They bought Miss Hailey this cute little outfit so she could be festive. She looked so precious.

Mover

Hailey is starting to move...She no longer stays where i put her, she just shimmies her way around in a little circle. She can't go far at all, but she is not the direction i laid her. So cute...in no time at all she will be crawling all over the place.
